Risk Intelligence A/S announces today that the company has signed a license agreement with Sony Europe B.V. (Sony) for the Risk Intelligence System (LandRisk) and a project development agreement for LandRisk Lane Threat Assessments.

With the license for LandRisk, Sony gets access to incidents, alerts, area, hotspots and country threat assessments as well as an increasing number of assessments of secure truck parking areas and parking areas that are vital for planning transportation. With the additional development agreement, Risk Intelligence and Sony will work together to improve the existing route planning tool into a complete Lane Threat Assessment tool that will allow a 360 degree security threat overview of selected lanes as well as for alternative routes.

CEO Hans Tino Hansen says:

“It is a great pleasure to sign the agreement for LandRisk with Sony, which is a testimony to our product and a proof of concept with a major global freight forwarder. At the same time, Sony and Risk Intelligence enters a project development agreement to develop a Lane Threat Assessment feature for LandRisk and this follows our tradition of developing and improving the core products with our clients just like we have done with MaRisk and PortRisk over the years. I believe that the new agreement with Sony and the new feature will attract even more attention to LandRisk from freight forwarders and logistical companies”.

The parties have agreed not to disclose the value of the contract.
